As the bass player for a nationally-touring band, Carson took on the responsibilities of publicity, graphic design, audio, and video production for the band. His portfolio grew to include full-length music videos, multi-angle mixes, live show webcasts, and a documentary series of shorts that showcased life on the road.

Following the birth of his son, Carson decided to pursue film full time, and has worked as a production assistant, office PA, art PA, camera assistant, second AD and is now pursuing DIT/coloring. He has worked on more than 100 commercials with an A-list roster of talent that includes Jennifer Garner, Blake Shelton, Kobe Bryant, Lady Gaga, Robbie Madison, Kristen Bell, Kevin Hart, Russell Wilson, Brooke Burke, and Draymond Green just to name a few.
